Every product in the world harms the environment in some way. Clothing waste is one of the many problems we face today. We produce too many garments and they don't last long enough. The planet cannot keep up with our level of consumption, so things need to change.

For us at ZO•ON, that means our clothes have to last. Quality is everything to us. We take pride in making durable garments.

PFCs (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds) are a group of chemicals that are harmful to the environment and to our health. They are found in many everyday items such as cookware, paper and textiles like rain jackets. Once released into the environment, they spread widely. Scientists have found traces of PFCs in drinking water, air, blood, polar bears and even breast milk. Some PFCs can even cause cancer. Harmful PFCs break down extremely slowly – over several hundred years – if at all.

Since 2020, all ZO•ON products have been made completely PFC-free. To make sure our products repel water, we use a DWR (durable water repellency) treatment that is harmless to our health and the environment.
